This post was an entire month in the making. I was given Olay Retinol 24 Night Serum, Night Moisturizer and Night Eye Cream to see how well it worked. I have two large melasma patches on my forehead from pregnancy that I HATE! I also have a ton of freckles that seem to multiply and look more like sun damage than the cute look I remember in my early 20’s. These are the two things that I was hoping to remedy with Olay.
Here’s how it went.
Day 1:
You can see the melasma, sun damage and a few fine lines. This is the first day of using all Olay’s Retinol24 collection at bedtime.
Day 10:
I really didn’t notice a difference until day 10. During this time my mustach/goatee area got really dry so I started to put really thick moisturizer on during the day and exfoliate at night before putting on the Retinol24 products. This helped A LOT! You can see that my sun spot are starting to fade and my face is looking brighter. At this point I was happy with the results.
Day 20:
This is when I notice a BIG difference in the sun spots on the lower part of my face and the fine lines around my eyes…which was a bonus! You can also see that my skin looks much more even and bright. At this point I was thrilled!
Day 30:
My melasma is holding on strong but the rest of my face is looking much more even. Look at all of my freckles and sun damage spots! They now look like the freckles I remember in my 20’s!
All in all, I loved the outcome. It’s hard to see the difference day to day because it is gradual. When I look at the pictures all together, I see a MASSIVE improvement. I love OLAY Retinol24 for two major reasons. First, the price is AMAZING! I have used other retinol products before that were so expensive. You can get any of the three products I used for under $40. Second, you don’t have to use them all. My favorite of the three that I tried was the Night Serum. If you can only afford one at the moment or just have a skin regimen that you already love, this is the one I would try first. You can use it with the other products you already have and still get great results.
